I’ve seen some responses to the Star Wars Sims expansion saying “If I wanted a Star Wars game, I’d play [insert combat-driven game here]”. And sure, but have you considered that not everyone who likes Star Wars likes combat games? And that Star Wars is about more than combat?

Sure, that margin may be small, and there are other issues besides. But those people exist. I have a friend who loves the Sims, adores Star Wars — but more ‘traditional’ games? Hates them. And when I told her about this? She was over the moon. This is for her.
