Question for people with ADHD: Does your ADHD affect how you play games, or the kinds of games you play? If so, how? What do you find accessible vs inaccessible?

Oh absolutely!! I wanted to mention that before but was afraid I was rambling lolol. I would love a feature that tells me where I've been (i.e. mini-map) bc I often end up going in circles scanning for landmarks bc I can never tell where I've been and where I haven't
Yes! I had the same thought while playing FFR7. I want to know where I've been (and, bonus, if there's nothing more to find in a given place) so I can be more confident about where I'm going and what's still to do.

Like, yeah. Mark up that map. Show me where I've been. Cross out the rooms with nothing left of interest in them. Ideally put the important stuff on the main path. Give me an option to play without inventory junk, so if I see something to pick up, I know it's worth my time.

I cannot get on in games without a minimap in the top right of the screen.

A counter or list of items in a place would be nice as a reassurance that I've done all I need to do so I can go on my way and progress would be perfect. Something similar to warn me when I'm about to go somewhere and progress before I've gotten everything would also be cool.
