I've got pretty heavy hitting ADHD and I've found out I tend to heavily prefer games with set objectives and more "handholding" approach - progression is a big thing in a game's staying factor for me. Games too focused on the creative side get me too easily overwhelmed...

Which is funny, because, from what I know, neurodivergent people might prefer the more creative approach to games and less strict rules? But I personally adore strictish rules in terms of core gameplay loop, I like to hyperfocus on a very clear cycle I can just repeat & master!

As for accessibility, for sure something I'd consider more is retrospectives - some kind of snippet that tells me where I left off when I last played or a quick activateable mini-tutorial, cuz my memory is a goldfish's and that would ease me into replaying a lot of games!

YES. I can't count the number of times I've restarted Spider-Man, RDR2 and FF7R because I lose focus, stop playing, then forget all the controls and what actually happened. RDR2 in particular I find impossible to follow. I don't know what I'm doing or why. I always miss it.
