Trying to workout if something is a me thing or a common, people thing. When something others praise doesn’t feel good to you, do you accept that you didn’t like it or do you convince yourself it’s just a different flavour of good you still need to acquire?
Hmm that’s still not quite IT. I can look at something I know I didn’t enjoy and identify where my taste differs and why, and then make deductions about other things other people will like. But I’m uncomfortable disliking things in the first place.

Some things I’ll be at peace with because my brain yells ‘I DO NOT WANT’ at me, but there are borderline things, or things everyone super hypes, and I’ll sometimes take that feeling of ‘urgh’ and tell myself noooo that’s a GOOD eurgh and you should WANT it
