One thing that always bugs me... when you say ‘generally’, do you usually mean it in the positive, glass-half-full sense of ‘consistently’, or in the glass-half-empty sense of ‘with exceptions’?

Yeah this is what I always thought it meant. Generally as in usually.
Ahhh but both usually and most of the time leave room for ‘but some of the time the opposite is true’
