I'm not writing but I'm having a massive self doubt and worth problem leaving uni and finding it so difficult to find work
I think it can be a vicious circle. They say that confidence masquerades as competence, so often folks are hired based on charisma while more highly skilled but less confident folks are overlooked. That needs to change.
Easier said than done though, when it ultimately comes down to subjective perceptions. As an interim, I tend to advocate for faking confidence, playing the part as if you were an actor playing a role. I have a lot of confidence issues, but this has worked for me.
