Anyone else thoroughly intimidated by a lot of game dev discourse? Everyone always has such eloquent, nuanced takes and I feel like, in contrast, mine always come out as "game go boom I like yessss" for 10 tweets until I shrivel

Yeah, I feel the same way. People start slinging around big ass words and fancy concepts and I feel like I can construct responses, but just like...not as fancy as other people?
Same. I only know "ludonarrative dissonance" and I treat it like the sonic screwdriver of conversations in which I want to sound even slightly smart

I don't even know that one. I keep meaning to learn more about it, but then I forget. I don't think it's bad if we don't know these things. In some ways it might make us more accessible? I know we ain't dumb lol.

Haha, throw in some passive worldbuilding and responsive narratives and you're good to go!
