It's hard to know better when you've grown up in a society that trivializes prison-rape, uses the word to describe beating someone in a video game. But if you do this still, you should stop too. Just admit you've done wrong and be better.
Good of you to acknowledge this. Unfortunately, I think this was quite prevalent among many growing up. I went through a similar phase which ended quite promptly after I was assaulted. Good to recognise, grow and be better.
