Well did you have evidence and did you go to the police if not I don’t believe you I’m afraid and you’ve only got yourself to blame unfortunately because at the end of the day you shouldn’t allow somebody to get away with such a transgression against you.
There are ~many~ reasons people don't go to the police, immediately or ever. I was sexually assaulted in 2012 and I didn't tell anyone for over a year because it took that long for me to process what had happened. Please educate yourself and stop shaming victims.
