That's really cool! I wanted to major in creative writing, but I was told "No, you'll never get a job with that." :(
Urgh, sorry you were told that! A lot of people told me the same thing growing up, but I figured I'd be rubbish at anything else so it was worth a shot at the one thing I'm good at. True, jobs that directly use creative writing are scarce, but they're there.

SOMEONE has to get them. Why not me? Why not you? You only have one life. Plus there are plenty of other jobs where the ability to write well and tell a story translates well. But it sounds like you got there anyway, major or no :)
