Writer pals - what is your top editing tip/technique? Finding re-drafting really hard going...
I mean it's pretty basic, but I leave it for a few days, then fire up a fresh doc with the old version to one side and write it again from scratch, transferring the bits I liked best.

I just really hate tweaking; it starts to feel like Theseus' ship. I'd rather just start over so it feels cohesive.
