I'm finding mental resistance for completing small tasks. they're all piling up.
Any tips for breaking the mentality?

Make a list. Prioritise them. Then take the one at the top -- forget the others. Open up a scrap word doc and take a few minutes to write your train of thought about the task, breaking down exactly what needs doing, describing how you feel about it, what's tripping you up.

With every trip up you note, brainstorm in bullet points a couple of ideas for what would make it easier. Idk about anyone else but I find that working out my thoughts in writing helps me make sense of them and break down barriers. Also excites me for some tasks. Might help?

I think you just cracked the code. I love writing out things to problem solve.
I’m going to try this for the bizarre task I had on my list “unpack heater” for about a week.

I hope it helps! I usually do this for writer's block, but I find it works for other things, too. Usually results in that 'Aha! I know what I'm doing now!' feeling, making me confident enough to plough on.
