The country's on lockdown for a pandemic and the estate agent is really asking me and my partner to travel to another city (neither of us drives) to sign contracts so that we can start paying rent for a property we probably won't be able to move into for another two months.
Upside: my partner ended his trip early and made it home. We're isolating together in Cambridge with the cat. We are fine. Meanwhile, two of my housemates back in Notts have coughs and a high fever.
Onnnn the other hand, a lot of my friends are struggling without face-to-face contact, particularly those who live alone. Please reach out to folks. Remind people you still care, even if you can't be there with them.
