That sometimes religion actually does have core elements that all of humanity can relate to on some level. Also my culture/race isn't "backwards" just because we're from a certain region of the world.

Race/Culture: Hispanic, Portuguese It'd be great if we were shown as more than loud, thick country folk. There's a lot of 'em, but still. Sexuality: Pansexual Like bisexuals, not all off us are promiscuous and up for all of it. Very underrepresented.

That being trans doesn't mean you hate your body or yourself, and that trans people don't just wait until they've had "sex-change" surgery until they live or identify as their desired gender.

Honestly, this took some getting used to. I'd been so indoctrinated into this perspextive, it took me several months to be OK with living into who I am, regardless of how much I pass. I'm not all the way there yet! Small steps in accepting myself and life. It's a journey.

Black people don’t all speak like people from bad 90s sitcoms with similar interest. We’re more than athletes and rappers. A lot of us have fathers. I appreciate when media address issues of racism in everyday life. The subtext interactions that change how ppl might respond.

I mostly want the variety of being that white characters get. Artist, goth, swimmer, lacrosse. Whatever. We get shoehorned a lot. No tragic backstory everytime with a drugged out parent or gang member brother. Those stories are a dime a dozen. Just a black kid...

There a a extremely wide diversity in gay people. They are not just stereotypes. They can be manly, feminine, in between. They are diverse. They are different from one another. It’s not (just) about sex.
