Not just UK politics. I'm starting to get to a point where I just ignore it and continue with life. What happens will happen and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it, even if 'they' say you can do a lot about it.
Yeah, just this is the one that most affects my friends and family, where we can make a difference by voting. I tune out outside of election season. But I also feel very pessimistic about our outcome again despite how overly obvious the choice seems.

I get what you mean. Almost every person/group of people that are in power for too long tend to get into situations like that. You'd think that at some point people are sick and tired of of their games and empty promises.
