I lost my best friend of twelve years to this a few months ago. Still have nightmares every night, experience tremors whenever she comes up. I completely underestimated this grief. Thank you for saying something about it. I’m still so hurt and angry. She was everything.
I have her so much of myself, loved her so so so much for so long... it’s excruciating. But it’s also for the best. I have myself back.
