How do you quiet imposter syndrome?
Funnily enough, this is very similar to the thought process I went through shortly after tweeting, acknowledging that whether true or otherwise, the only way to ensure they wouldn’t be in the future would be by calming down and working to improve — worrying is counterproductive.

It was a difficult wrangle but it worked, and now I’m okay. Annoyingly though, playing games/reading work I like just makes the anxiety worse because it gives me a sense that I will never achieve anything like it

Greg's excellent advice reminds me a lot of mindfulness meditation training, where they say to take a step back from yourself & be curious about why you're feeling that way. What is triggering it? What are the emotions you're experiencing? Saying it out loud or writing it helps.
