Is it normal for heart palpitations (that’s what I assume they are) to be - tiny bit painful? Because that one was.
What I’m understanding as a heart palpitation: - Kind of a cold and very uncomfortable feeling around my heart, not sure if it’s quite pressure but it doesn’t *feel* beat-related - Sometimes it’s a one-off, but most often chained over the coarse of 5-30 mins
- Sometimes a single one lasts several seconds - They started earlier this year - I won’t have any for months and then I just get them loads for a week or two - They give me really bad anxiety - I’m calling the doctor in the morning
The one I just has also kinda hurt my neck and jaw? Weird
Okay I’m calling 111 if anything because anxiety about it is making me kinda teary. I haven’t had any since that big one, but my chest feels kinda tight.
WELP apparently it’s not heart palpitations and he’s specifically asked about my jaw and neck so yeah I guess my anxiety has peaked I don’t know why I’m writing this here. Guess it helps a little? Idk
I had something like that some years ago. It was a hyperthyroidism and medication fixed it. I felt like my heart was breakdancing in my chest.
I’m glad you’re okay! They’ve run a bunch of blood tests and it doesn’t *seem* to be my thyroid, so I guess we’ll see!
I had intermittent tachycardia because of my WPW, so I had to get that ablated
