I hear you North Americans don’t have Robinson’s orange squash, and my question is, how have you survived this long?

We don't call it squash, either. I had to ask about it inthe ASDA. For us, zucchini (courgette) is a squash. We call that stuff a "mixer."

Sure, there are all sorts of things that can be considered a "mixer." It's a broad category, with the connotation of being used in alcoholic beverages, but can also be used with flavoring water. An "Arnold Palmer" is an example of what you're describing. I'm thinking cocktails.
