In Scotland we call it diluting juice and when I moved down south, I thought people were talking about the ballsport Squash :(
I hear you North Americans don’t have Robinson’s orange squash, and my question is, how have you survived this long?

Ha! I’ve never heard that before. My Canadian partner thought I was talking about the vegetable.

When I lived there the lack of squash was a real issue. I ended up drinking soda instead and thus began my addiction to soft drinks.

That’s exactly what would happen to me. 90% of my diet is orange squash. I find it really difficult to drink water without it.

The worst part is you describe it to someone and they fixate on the part where you add water and suggest you try Kool-Aid. Do not fall for this

We don't call it squash, either. I had to ask about it inthe ASDA. For us, zucchini (courgette) is a squash. We call that stuff a "mixer."
