I find it so strange to think that some people just grew up with, like, a complete set of parents. When I look back, I realise that was the case for most of the kids in my school. I was the dead-dad girl. Feels normal to me.https://twitter.com/sarahlongthorne/status/1190205526795313152 …
My dad would have been 67 today. Cancer’s a big ol’ B, so be kind to yourselves and to others and make sure to tell people you love them

I understand how you feel. In my group of friends I was the only 1 who didn't have both parents, still the case to this day. Late teens were the hardest since I saw friends doing things w/ their dads that I couldn't. What helped me was the happy childhood memories I had with him.

I guess the idea that there are some memories of how he was helped since it's better than nothing.
