Really needed this encouragement today, was feeling low after reading a thread about how hard it is to get into video game writing at a time when I'm just starting to develop my skills and learn programs. Thank you.
Urgh you don’t need that negativity. Everyone will have a different journey. Some people find it harder, but that might not be you. Don’t let a struggle that hasn’t happened yet — that may never happen — get you down or put you off pursuing your dreams.

Confidence and initiative will be two of your greatest assets. It’s good to be aware that it might not be easy, that it might not be straightforward, but there’s no point in disheartening people before they’ve even tried and potentially damaging those two valuable traits.
