Unaware of the actual contents of the books, the stories behind the books, and what some things meant. This is, presumably, the moment they ran out of actual material they could just adapt it all turned to shit.
Actually the thing I find laughable about the response (from what can be gleaned from a paraphrased tweet) is the mention of a woman writing a few scenes and the fact that one writer is of Asian descent, as if they’ve met a quota, or are trying to convince us they did.
