Does anyone else get mixed up between weddings and funerals? I keep banging on about my grandpa’s wedding and it’s really confusing my family, especially since, according to me, my grandma recently married too.

Could just be the association with church, assuming that's where these funerals were held. Where I live, most funerals take place at funeral homes, so it's easier to make the distinction. That and there tend to be fewer corpses at weddings.
Yeah maybe! I just keep saying it without even thinking, and sometimes I don’t even realise until someone points it out. At this point I don’t even know whether it’s just a word swap or whether I genuinely think it’s a wedding.

Tbf there I’ve been to a BUNCH of weddings over the last few years (four in the last three?) and, before grandma died, hadn’t been to a funeral since my dad’s when I was ten so... it’s been a while.
