Maybe the approach I used with my uni chum back in the day? Literally sat next to one another emailing back and forth in the computer lab? (obvs with twitter). Although I'd probably forget I'd more likely timidly say hi and also spout nonsense and run away :) (also friendly)
That’s adorable. I did that with a guy on a date once but that’s because we didn’t speak the same language and we were passing Google Translate back and forth.
