MCV 30 Under 30 2021 
TW: Suicide. I’ve been approached by a follower asking how to help a suicidal friend. I want to help, but feel giving advice myself would be disingenuous. I don’t have that much experience, and I worry about causing more harm through ignorance. What advice would you give?

Like i said it's a delicate topic. Most people who want to commit suicide don't want to be forgotten. Then again none of us want to be forgotten. We exist for a reason and our reason is to find what that is. We want to be remembered for something good, don't we?
I’d maybe hesitate to make such broad statements about what all people universally want. The ‘giving up’ angle seems a little too close to shaming for my comfort; if it were me, it would add to my feeling that I’ve ‘failed’. Has this worked to bring someone around for you?

You're right. Both of you are. But i guess some of those points might in some way defined how i felt. And yes generalising people gets rid of their individuality in a way. The giving up angle did help though, it helped one of my students. But i guess gamers react differently.
