TW: Suicide. I’ve been approached by a follower asking how to help a suicidal friend. I want to help, but feel giving advice myself would be disingenuous. I don’t have that much experience, and I worry about causing more harm through ignorance. What advice would you give?

There’s obviously a lot to this but in a mental health first aid course we were trained around these things for dealing with a mh emergency. With the focus on it being first aid in the sense they will still need professional helppic.twitter.com/b2reGZJIJm
