Genre and tone-- not just definitions but actual usage to modify or focus story. But most of all, an outside and demonstrable interest in Psychology, Theater, and/or History.
Experience in design, or any discipline that mandated direct contact with players and feedback. Ability to quickly pivot to a new version of a story beat or character.
