I am certainly not the protag for gorillas on rope bridges lol I’m an always happy when my fellow writers get good news but today I got word of another job I got passed up for after a really rigorous interview process and it made me feel super average and whiny.
I think it’s perfectly valid to be whiny in that situation. I’m sorry you didn’t get the gig, but I’m confident that when you DO get one — which you will — it will be the right one. I always tell myself that if I don’t get a gig, I probably wouldn’t have been happy there anyway.
