Urgh, since it’s come up again, let me be clear... I am not against receiving feedback. My colleagues all know that very well. What I am against is aggressiveness, spitefulness and inconsideration, and accusations based on assumption. Ask more, accuse less.

And let me be clear, 99% of the assumptions I see on Twitter and Reddit are wildly incorrect. If you don’t know the process, you’re more than likely being unfair. And even then, there are ways to do it without being callous.

Not that haters are ever gonna stop, listen and think ‘actually yeah she’s got a point, I should be more conscientious to devs’ anyway, because haters love to hate. That’s why they gonna do it.

Here’s a thing to consider: the way you treat people on Twitter still counts towards your quality as a person, as much as your IRL interactions. If you’re not kind online, you’re not kind. Full stop.

Mate, you'll never persuade all of them. Just check out! I stopped reading and engaging with it ages ago. There's nothing I need to learn from it now that I won't be able to learn from it when the furor has all died down.
