I had problems with spices at the beginning too. In Spain is quite uncommon to use any of those, and those flavours were totally alien for me. After some time, I not only got used to them, I freaking love them. I can only encourage you to keep trying. :)
Idk, call me basic and unadventurous but that just sounds like more meals that I can barely stomach than is necessary. I literally can’t even manage a single mouthful.

I don't judge you. If you don't like it, you don't like it. I just believe that taste can be trained and I always try to gently push people into liking other things. Which unusual flavours you like? Something that people you know are not big fans of.

I have an extremely basic palate so I tend not to like many herbs outside of basil, haha. I have ‘the coriander gene’ but other than that I could probably be trained, but also don’t really feel the need to branch out. I like enjoying my food XD can’t think of anything unusual...
