My personal opinion is that if a game hasn’t gotten good by 30-40 hrs in then that’s probably not a good thing XD maybe just me idk

Odyssey is a good game but it is incredibly too long if you don't have an element of the game you just attach to. I don't think i saw the opening title screen for 5 hours or so? Just toooo much in one big open world bowl at once.

I feel like if games are gonna be that big they need separate courses to munch on, separate chapters to book end a part of play. There's so little time to pause & take stock yknow.
