nooo, definitely not just you. If a game is going to waste more than 5 hours of my time before it 'gets good', then it's perhaps not a great game.
Exactly. I don’t have much patience besides. There are so many books hat I never finished for this reason.

The only time I suffered through 30 hours of trash for the 'good bit' was Final Fantasy 13, and I vowed to never do it again.
