My personal opinion is that if a game hasn’t gotten good by 30-40 hrs in then that’s probably not a good thing XD maybe just me idk

It's why I love civ builders so much. You can jump in, build something up, forget about it, then come back and either go from where you left off, or start again! Bliss.

It’s also what a game does with that time. 40 hours can be consistently engaging but it can also be 10 hours of amazing-ness, squeezed in between long stretches on monotony.

I’m about two hours in, but got daunted when I saw that a ‘speedy’ run through was 90 hours! I’ll still play it, but... yeah. Daunting.
