Countering yesterday’s bad news with some good news! Yesterday I passed my three-month probation at Sumo (yey) and today I found out the scary lump in my boob is just hardened booby tissue and nothing to worry about (yeyyey).
The almost constant and quite uncomfortable heart palpitations I’ve had all this week remain a mystery but are hopefully connected to the latter, and fingers crossed won’t now sustain themselves like a very nasty stress-induced chicken and egg.
Quick note: the #NHS service in Nottingham is fantastic. I went to a walk-in clinic about the lump on Tuesday, GP-less, had acquired a GP within two hours and within three had been referred to the Breast Institute with two days’ notice. Barely had to wait inside, either.
Omg random hardened tissue is the worsssttttt, just entirely unnecessary stress! Still good to get the all clear though!
Brilliant news must be such a relief x
