im actually curious why simulated games dont have gender options... yall know the love island game? It’s like episode and it also only has a female option

Fusebox did that with the X Factor Life games — they had a boys season and a girls season — but found that it was better, in the words of the franchise, to just put all their eggs in one basket, both in terms of game quality and length and the market demographic.
Male players are a minority in the mobile choice games market (I read 10% somewhere) so it doesn’t make much sense financially to go all out on an entirely new season. Women have been playing as male characters for years; men can stand to do the same just once :)
