Because I literally just don’t want to. Im not that sort of person and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. What i have going on right now works fine for me.

If someone approaches me and I don’t want them to, I’ll be polite, but if I still feel uncomfortable after a minute then I’ll excuse myself. It depends a bit on how they are with me/what they say but in general I just don’t like it.

Different people are comfortable with different things, and that’s absolutely fine. Some people like meeting strangers, some don’t.

I know, and that’s fine, everyone is different, trust me I am a teacher I’ve seen a big difference in lots of people. But all I am saying is yes it will be awkward, but just talk back, no harm is done with chatting.

I have literally not said once that I don’t talk back, at least for a little bit. I just said that I don’t like it.

No, I never said anything about how I responded. The tweet indicated that I didn’t appreciate it. I smiled, said ‘No thank you’ and carried on with my workout. But you didn’t ask that.

But I mean from your reaction you did not appreciate it, yes it probably wasn’t best place to start chatting, but he made the effort and tried, shouldn’t be put down because of it.
