True at the gym you’d feel gross. But to anyone? Ever?

I mean, it depends on context. If it’s a place/situation where chatting is encouraged, or where I can reasonably expect that people will want to talk to me, then I’m happy to be chatted to and just use your head and don’t be a jerk. But otherwise, I don’t wanna be approached.

*by strangers, at least.

Yeah I get you but usually social/chatty settings people are usually with friends and approaching someone is hard enough let alone when there is a group there.

Tbf I meet everyone I know through work/networking/through friends. I don’t have time for much else and I feel much more comfortable getting to know people that way. If I wanna date, I’ll go on Tinder.

I’ve agreed with everything else you’ve said but not this, why not just leave your options open? Not saying go out and have dates all the time but, like at least leave the possibility of someone approaching you, like what will you say, “nty I use tinder to date, go away”?

Because I literally just don’t want to. Im not that sort of person and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. What i have going on right now works fine for me.

If someone approaches me and I don’t want them to, I’ll be polite, but if I still feel uncomfortable after a minute then I’ll excuse myself. It depends a bit on how they are with me/what they say but in general I just don’t like it.
