*GOT SPOILERS* . . . . . Did Jon just become the new King Beyond The Wall? If so, I actually think that’s a good ending for him.

I assume he is more or less their leader, but with no title attached to his name. It wouldn't make sense for his arc to end with him becoming the new 'King-Beyond-the-Wall' when he didn't want the Iron Throne. I think it is more about him accepting that he is with his people.
Eh, I imagine they’ll call him that regardless of whether or not he wants it. I think the reason people are dissatisfied is that they expected him to be A king... and in my mind, he is now, but not the king we expected, which is a cool twist on it.

Oh, I meant that he wouldn't adopt the title personally (he would reject it, but sure, they would all still call him that). I agree with most of what you've said. But to be fair, I never saw Jon Snow becoming a proper king at the end of it.

He did accept the title of King in the North, so I don't think he would necessarily refuse the title if it was wanted by the people. He just didn't want the Iron Throne and all the kingdoms, was happy to just rule the North.
