Apparently they partially did it to help people stop seeing her as a child, which is great. I agree: good for her. Thing is, I DID still see her as a child, because she started out being played by a child (as opposed to Dany, technically 14, but obviously played by an adult) ...

Still uncomfortable of course, but I would feel (and felt) exactly the same way about any formally child actors — Isaac, Sophie — especially with all the mirroring to the pilot. We’ve grown up almost feeling responsible for them, like a parent ...

I think it’s normal that people are uncomfortable because it would be normal to be initially uncomfortable seeing your kid get it on with someone, even if you were otherwise supportive
