She Replied, you forgot the cookies, i really wanted some cookies
’Simon looked at her, unconvinced. “Really? It looked more like you heard something that creeped you out. And you’re gripping that butter knife like, well... the way you’d usually grip your long sword.”’
‘“I thought we were alone.” She muttered, placing the butterknife in an ice pick grip. “And friends don’t tend to sneak up on you quietly.”’
"This friend does!" Jeff bellowed as he emerged from the fog, immediately going in for an uninvited hug.
She knew she couldn't tell him about the things she had started hearing recently. She wasn't even sure herself what it was or how to stop it from happening.
Simon sighed. “I can’t help you if you won’t talk to me.”
