I often hear people talk about toxicity in the workplace, but I don't see many people describing toxic behavior. I feel this would be a useful list. What are some of the less obvious characteristics or behaviors of toxic people that you've encountered in the workplace?
When your manager promises you a role on the condition that you work it on top of your existing job (and your ex-manager’s job), tells everyone to call you by your new future title, then punishes you when the overload of work impacts your mental health, moves the goalpost...
...And then eventually backtracks on the whole thing, despite everything. Plus other stuff I won’t mention here.
