No I get that. Like I said difficulty options are great. However not every game could work like that. Dark Souls for example is designed in ever way to be a "difficult" experience. That means level design, enemy design, literally everything would have to change for an "easy" mode
You realise there are lots of different types of disability, right? Yes, many disabled folk are absolute pros without assistance, and others have disabilities that make it more difficult. If you take a moment to listen to some of such people in this discourse...

Like I said, SOME disabled people can be really good at games. Don't twist my words.

My point here is that game developers have the choice to decide if they want their game to appeal to the mass market and as many people as possible, or they can narrow their scope to be for a specific crowd of people. Yes it's exclusion, but not every game is for everyone.
