Of course, but like I said some games are meant to be a certain level of difficulty that the devs chose, it may be easy to you or hard to me.
And *yet* it is doable. Other games achieve it, despite these factors. Yes, there is added cost associated to it, but it’s a cost that opens your game to a wider audience, which means more people buying the game.

If adding an easy mode is too difficult, perhaps the devs should be playing life on easy mode?

Most difficulty options in video games are only based on damage taken or shit like that which is an extremely lazy way to create difficulty or challenge.
