That is why attempting to write them is so important. I do not feel ready, either; but I am still chugging forward in my novel. Most are female protanganists of some sort.
That's a very good point! I think I'm just being held back by my own self-doubt, to be honest; it's something I care about, so I wanna make sure I do it well. But also, I'm not sure what I'm waiting for to happen to make me more ready, so... Good on you. I'll try, too.

There's always revisions. Every character needs to be drafted to be a reality. You are a woman and have unique experiences that can be used. I have faith you will create something beautiful.
