If that were the context, I might agree with you, and I realise that this was context-less! Unfortunately it seems more to be the product of people not recognising the value of mobile games as a valid genre.
Verbatim quote I’ve heard several times: “I’m not paying real money for a mobile game”. And 99% of people saying that preceded the sentiment with “I loved this game when can I play more”.

In that case, fair enough, doesn't matter what platform something is on, if you enjoy it/spend time on it and the person providing it is asking for money, then people should pay it. There's a lot of gatekeeping in terms of whether mobile games are games, and its dumb.
