I agree. It makes me slightly uncomfortable and definitely bores me to death this cyberpunkish aesthetics with tons of perfect women, OK dudes and sexy robots, where women are always in bad situations (prostitutes, etc.) and have to endure a lot of violence against their bodies.
Not only is it kinda misogynistic, it’s also just kinda tired and unimaginative/unoriginal at this point? Let’s see an original, non-toxic take on the genre for once that embraces its potential for breaking the mounds of inclusivity and celebrating intersectionality
