it's a bit sexist tbh. Not incredibly sexist, but rather old fashioned on how it treats violence against women and female nudity. Visually though there are many interesting elements.
^ the animations are awesome and there are a few great episodes, but it was kinda let down by several episodes that seemed to take a bit too much pleasure in showing violence against women, to the point where I felt very uncomfortable

This is basically what I've heard. I've found the same issues distracting in other shows so I might just end up giving this a miss.

I agree. It makes me slightly uncomfortable and definitely bores me to death this cyberpunkish aesthetics with tons of perfect women, OK dudes and sexy robots, where women are always in bad situations (prostitutes, etc.) and have to endure a lot of violence against their bodies.

Honestly I had this feeling in altered carbon too, which put me off it a bit
