This shouldn’t need to be said, but game studio employees using their status to flirt with players on their mod accounts is both creepy and unprofessional. And yes, this is tied into my previous tweet.pic.twitter.com/muhDzDF3CX

I honestly don't think that's a worry at all. It's a very specific behaviour that's being targetted here, which is explicitly over-the-obvious-line flirtatious advances, which are in breach of the long-standing social media employee contracts. Nothing else need change.
I really hope not. Many years, Jagex had been flamed for being a faceless unsympathetic company, caring only for money, now they generally have great staff, not just the CMs either, weed out the offenders, have accounts locked, random checks, anonymous reporting, it can be done
I'm pretty confident that nothing will change aside from putting an end to/deterring that specific behaviour.
It could take us back to the old days of no communication just incase something gets interpreted by someone in the wrong way. Am totally in favour of people being stopped breaking rules but, you have to consider what if all is not as it seems?
The line is very clear. If you're being obviously flirty (for example, asking for nudes), that's a breach. I trust Jagex to be able to make that distinction. I honestly don't think there will any change at all to the level and style of communication you're used to.
