For me personally I don't mind politics in games/films/tv-series. But I think it would help if it was a little bit more subtle at times. Although, I guess 'subtle' is open to interpretation.

It's impossible to create without some degree of politics seeping in, because politics is all about worldview, and we create through the lens of our worldview, which is a product of our subjective experiences. Sometimes it's unintentional, but all art is politics, to a degree.

My point is more that people only interpret things as political if those things don't correspond to their own worldview, which is kind of hypocritical. If you agree with it, you don't notice it. But you won't always agree (because we're all different), and that's ok :)

I wasn't really arguing your point, I agree. I just think the unintentional stuff can be tweaked/avoided most of the time.

If it serves to tell a story, go ahead. But what is the point of throwing it in there just for the sake of it? I had this with the DC shows, at first I didn't notice it but in time i started to notice a trend across their tv-shows.
